The location of Cleveland House couldn't be better. Just a short walk to the heart of everything in Newport. I appreciated the free parking right outside my door. The room was clean and had a charming historical feel, with comfortable bedding. The staff, especially Rick, went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable with helpful local tips. Breakfast options were solid, and I loved the all-day availability. However, I noticed that there were no housekeeping services during my six-night stay. I wish this had been communicated at check-in, as it made things a bit inconvenient. Also, shower pressure was low for a few hours due to maintenance issues, though that wasn’t the hotel's fault. Overall, it was a great base for exploring Newport, but some improvements regarding communication on services would be beneficial.
